Island Chains and Lesser Landmasses
Lacsland and Driftafar
Lacsland and Driftafar lie on the far northwestern edge of the world, far from the heart of the civilization. They are lands of ice, snow, and frigid waters, but even here, the migrant races have found a way to thrive.
Sundapart and the Shards
Broken from the Satran mainland during the Reaving, Sundapart and the Satran Shards have developed unique environments distinct from the those on the continent. They are the southernmost explored and settled landmasses on Solitude.
The Thousand Eyes
The Thousand Eyes are a treacherous cluster of islands south-west of Norvair - they are famous for the confounding mists that obscure the region’s many dangers from the eyes of inexperienced sailors.
Dane Hyros and Calashire
These two large islands lie in the northern Reaching Ocean south of Lacsland and boast a warmer climate than other nations of such latitude. The narrow channel between them is famous for its abundance of cold-water fish.
Jura and the Jur’ngo Isles
Once part of Kindreth’s southwestern arm, this tropical island chain is what remains of the jur’ngan homeland. Now, broken apart by the Reaving, the Isles lay in the midst of the dangerously shallow, but bountiful Shattered Sea.
The Dorsan Cays
The Dorsan Cays are known as the jewels of the Coral Sea and lie in the waters between Lumas and Sabbré. They are warm and lightly forested islands surrounded by glistening blue waters that team with sea life.
Unique Natural Regions
The Forests
Vast temperate woodlands alive with birdsong, towering moss-laden redwood groves, lush tropical jungles teeming with life.
The Lakes and Rivers
Settled rivers bustling with trade, mighty inland seas that inspire legends, remote deltas where few have set foot.
The Plains
Idyllic meadows of crops and wildflowers, endless stretches of green savannah, hot and dusty shortgrass prairies.
The North
Eerie tundra lit by boreal lights, snow-swept valleys hosting brief spring blooms, endless lakes choked with flocks of summer fowl.
The Deserts
Mountainous shifting dunes, scrub-choked hills and wastelands, arid salt flats where few living things can endure.
The Wetlands
Shallow fens washed by wildfire, floating mats of moss and reeds, impassable swamps hiding teeth below the surface.
The Seas
Crystal shallows decorated with vibrant coral, endless depths with no bottom in sight, dark waves over mysterious sunken ruins.
The Mountains
Unreachable cliffs dotted with gigantic nests, unfathomable valleys flooded by grey seas, rolling foothills creased by cold and clear streams.
The Bizarre
City-sized caverns awash in blue light, lakes of molten magma that never cool, titanic trees with entire forests in their canopies.
